Captain Ridiculous is a smart comedy by Christopher
Bowen. It focuses on a noble superhero who, after losing
his day job and failing to stop a giant robot assault on the
city, finds himself riddled with panic attacks and unable to
leave his apartment. Now, he must repair his relationship
with his sidekick, go through therapy, and pay his rent on
time…all while dealing with his roommate: an overly
emotional scientist that accidentally turned himself into a
giant rat.
The First Look Series gives audiences the exciting chance
to see brand new theatre in its purest, rawest form.
Playwrights have the unprecedented opportunity to stage
their works in an environment where they can receive
immediate feedback directly from theatre goers. The
